Alexander E. Meikopoulos

Alexander E. Meikopoulos is the Founder & Principal of MP & Co. Based out of Greece, he directs the practice and remains hands-on across all engagements. The practice is currently embedded with Usual Labs and EdgeClear across six products, with work spanning stablecoin architecture, credit markets, institutional trading, and risk infrastructure.

Prior to establishing the practice, Alexander co-founded Swoop DeFi Labs and led product and design for Swoop Exchange, a liquidity aggregation protocol backed by Harmony. In 2024, OKX ranked Swoop among the leading DEX aggregators globally. Alexander sold his equity and exited the company in 2025.

Alexander previously led product design at Vela Exchange, which processed more than $20 billion in cumulative trading volume. He was also founding product designer at Newmoney, where he worked on early applications of AI to personal finance.

Alexander holds a diploma in Computing and Information Technology.
